Cookie Policy

Besa uses only essential cookies. Here we explain which ones, why they are needed and why we do not ask for consent.

The Besa website sets no cookies. The app uses only the ones needed to keep you securely signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies, so we do not ask for your consent.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Some are essential for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in. Others are used for statistics or advertising.

What we use

The besa.al website sets no cookies. We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no social media buttons that track you.

The member app uses a single cookie, needed to keep you securely signed in:

Name Where Purpose Duration
refresh_token api.besa.al Keeps you signed in without asking for a code every time. JavaScript cannot read it and it is only sent to Besa. 30 days, renewed each time it is used

The admin console, used only by the Besa team, has its own session cookie and does not affect members.

The app also stores a few choices on your device, such as your language, and this week's proposals so you can see them offline. These stay on your device and are removed when you sign out.

The law requires consent for cookies that are not essential. Because we only use the cookie needed for secure sign-in, there is nothing to accept or refuse, so we show no consent banner.

If we ever add other cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting them.

How to control them

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block refresh_token, you will need to sign in with a code every time you open the app.
